An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
We have a part time position as a Bus Escort from October till the end of June 2026.
Morning 7:30 – 9:30
Afternoon 1:00 – 3:00
In the morning two pupils in our new class will be collected from their homes by bus, One boy from Mount Merrion and the other boy from Ballinteer. They will be dropped to their homes by bus when school finishes at 1:30.
The position is for 4 hours per day, ie 20 hours per week till the end of June. The successful candidate will require Garda Vetting. The rate of pay is €15.66 per hour.
Candidates should have experience in working with children and be able to deal with parents and school staff in a professional manner.
Bus escorts will be expected to travel to and from an agreed pick-up and drop-off point to meet the bus.
