Meán Scoil Mhuire seeks applications from suitably qualified persons for the post of Substitute Special Needs Assistant - Specific Purpose Contract - Carer's Leave Position. This vacancy covers a Carer's Leave extending from mid September 2025 to 1st March, 2026. Application Form is available on the school website under the Recruitment tab. Please email your Application Form to recruitment@scoilmhuirelongford.ie only and submit a copy of your up to date Garda Vetting. The subject line of the email should read "Application for Special Needs Assistant Substitute Position - Carer's Leave". Previous experience/further training in ASD desirable. Training in First Aid desirable. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, respect the ethos of the school, work well as part of a team, be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training/CPD relating to the needs of the children of the school.
