Applications are invited for the position of Special Needs Assistant (SNA) in Colaiste Muire, Crosshaven, Co Cork.
This is a full time permanent vacancy commencing on Sept. 17th, 2025 The position can only be filled in accordance with DES regulations and pending approval of the Department of Education and the Board of Management of Colaiste Muire, Crosshaven.
The minimum required standard of education for appointment to an SNA post is: A QQI level 3 major qualification on the national framework of qualifications or a minimum of three grade Ds in the Junior Cert or equivalent. Relevant experience in a post-primary school and with students with ASD is desirable.

The CV should include qualifications, relevant competencies, experience and two references. Applications from SNAs on SNA panel must have panel form clearly attached and please indicate this on your letter of application.
Shortlisting may apply and only those shortlisted will be contacted. Canvassing will disqualify. All applicants must provide up to date Garda Vetting.
Provisional date for interviews is Tuesday September 16th, 2025.
