Description:
We’re Hiring: EdTech Sales Manager (Education Sector)
Company: Samson Media
Location: Remote (with occasional school visits)
Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: €40,000 base + performance-related bonus and commission
Start Date: October 2025

About the Role
Samson Media is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in the Irish education sector.
This is a unique opportunity to join a purpose-driven start-up and play a pivotal role in the nationwide rollout of a resource that supports the wellbeing, relationships, and personal development of thousands of young people in Irish schools.

What We’re Looking For
Essential:
• A strong understanding of how schools in Ireland operate — including decision-making structures and curriculum planning.
• Prior experience working in or closely with schools, school leaders, or educational organisations.
• A proven track record in sales, account management, or outreach — ideally within education, publishing, EdTech, or youth services.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence presenting — both online and in person.
• Self-driven, well organised, and comfortable working independently in a start-up environment.
• A genuine interest in education, mental health, and youth development.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and manage relationships with school decision-makers across all post-primary schools in Ireland.
• Lead targeted outreach campaigns, deliver virtual product demos, and conduct school visits.
• Manage the end-to-end sales process from lead generation to subscription sign-up and onboarding.
• Collaborate with the project manager and founder on strategic targeting and campaign design.
• Support pilot programmes, gather school feedback, and represent the company at education events.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach, KPIs, and performance metrics.

What We Offer
• €40,000 base salary
• Performance-related bonus and commission
• Flexible and remote-first working environment
• The chance to be part of a nationally significant education initiative
• Professional growth within a scaling company making a meaningful impact
