This appointment will be subject to: satisfactory references, current and continuing Teaching Council registration, current vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
This is a maternity leave post teaching a special A.S.D. class. Experience and knowledge of working with children with ASD and in partnership with parents and the entire school community to ensure the best outcomes for pupils is essential. Evidence of continuous TPL and experience of working with behavioural and communication difficulties would be desirable.
Applications should be clearly marked ‘Application for Teaching Post’ on the outside of the envelope.
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
