Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated primary teachers to join our supply panel. The supply teachers will be based in St Dominics National School and will fill in short-term absences in 12 schools in a 5km radius. It will be a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a variety of settings: Junior/ Senior, vertical schools, multigrade and Gaelscoil. As these are supply panel positions candidate should highlight in their letter a willingness to be flexible and examples of flexibility and reliability in previous positions.
Experience in special education is an advantage but not essential — a positive attitude, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education are key.
Desirable:
• Understanding of differentiated teaching approaches
• Team-oriented and collaborative attitude
