Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
We are a special school setting catering to children with a moderate intellectual disability. In addition, our pupils/students may also have autism and/or Down Syndrome and additional complex needs. This position will start August 25th, 2025, when staff are due back. Pupils/Students start on August 27th.
Knowledge and experience working with challenging autism would be a prerequisite. An understanding of PECS, TEAACH and LAMH is essential in working with pupils/students within the school. An ability to work as a team and be calm, approachable and flexible is required. Experience working in a special school is required to meet the criteria to interview.
Interviews will be held Monday, August 18th in the school.
