St John the Baptist B.N.S. has been designated by the Department of Education as the base school for a Primary Teacher Supply Panel. The purpose of the Teacher Supply Panel is to provide substitution cover to a cluster of designated primary schools in the area. These schools include Special Education Schools, DEIS schools, Gaelscoileanna and schools that teach through the medium of English.

The teachers on the Teacher Supply Panel will be appointed to the staff of St John the Baptist B.N.S. as a supply teacher on a fixed term contract for the school year 2025/2026.

Probation is desirable. Interests / skills / experience in a range of different schools as listed above is advantageous.

Applicants for this post must have a Certificate to teach Religious Education. Appointment will be subject to current
Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.

The Teacher Supply panel will operate in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in Circular 0059/2019. For further information in relation to this, please refer to Circular 59/2019.
