An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
ABACAS Kilnamanagh is a special school for Autistic children aged 4-18 with Complex Needs. This position has arisen as a result of an increase in our SNA allocation.

The successful applicant will work in a supportive and inclusive environment working alongside a classroom teacher, a team of highly experienced SNAs, an onsite Behaviour Practitioner as well as external visiting professionals. Significant experience working with pupils with Autism and communication difficulties in an educational setting is essential. Candidates must demonstrate practical experience with the management of behaviours of concern and the promotion of positive and therapeutic behaviour strategies.
