CRC School is a special school for children with physical disabilities with many students having a secondary disability or complex medical needs. The school is under the patronage of the Central Remedial Clinic. The pupils are aged 3 -18 years. The school has a preschool, primary and post-primary.
This advertisement is for:
1 permanent part-time (1 day a week) position
1 fulltime fixed term position
1 job share position
1 fulltime maternity leave starting Sept 1st
1 part-time (3 days per week) maternity leave starting approximately Sept 15th
Essential Criteria:
Level 3 SNA qualification
Client Manual Handling training
A minimum of 1 year's experience employed as an SNA in a special class / school setting
Experience in catering for care needs such as toileting and personal care.
Desirable
Level 5/6 SNA qualification
Specialist feeding training
Experience / training in augmentative and alternative forms of communication
Applicants are asked to ensure they fulfill all essential criteria including Client Manual Handling and have enclosed all required documentation with application. Incomplete applications will not be considered under any circumstances.
Applications are by email ONLY and SNA POSITION must be put in the subject.
Interviews will be in the second week of July. Short-listing may apply.
Appointment is subject to garda vetting, reference checking and OHS medical assessment.
The successful applicant must be available for two days before the start date for Croke Park Days.
