Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, kind and caring SNA to join an ASD class in Sept 2025.
Applicants should have experience of working with children with complex needs, a flexible attitude to work, good communication skills and a good understanding of special education needs.
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate initiative and be
committed to working as part of a dynamic and supportive team.
Knowledge and experience of TEAACH, LÁMH, PECS, as well as experience working with children with behaviours of concern would be beneficial.
The position being advertised is for 1 Full time SNA (32 hour post) for our Autism Class. The post is composed of 16 standard hours and 16 fixed term hours covering for an SNA on Career Break.
