An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This position is to cover Principal Release days for the 2025/2026 school year in 5 County Galway schools, which will involve travelling (allowances payable).
St. Brendan's NS, Eyrecourt is the base school. The other schools are located at: Clonfert, Drim, Killimor and Leitrim.
The successful candidate should have full Teaching Council registration.
Experience teaching all class levels, including multi-grade, as well as a sound knowledge of Special Education is desirable.
Good classroom management skills, planning skills and flexibility are essential skills for this position.
