An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Kilmacanogue NS is a co-ed Catholic primary schools for pupils from Junior Infants - 6th Class.
We welcome children with a wide range of additional needs in our mainstream classes and our Autism Class, which was opened in September 2024.
We have two vacant SNA positions:
1) A fixed-term, fulltime post, covering a career break for the 2025-2026 school year.
2) A permanent 0.83 hours post (infant day).
The successful candidates may be working in mainstream or in our Autism Class.
Applications should use the Standard Application Form for SNA posts, which will be accepted by email only to jobs@kilmacns.ie no later than 12pm on the closing date. Please include 'Application for SNA Position(s)' in the subject line of the email.
Candidates are invited to apply for one or both positions. Please include a brief Letter of Application in the body of the email, outlining your reasons for applying for a position at our school and which position(s) you are applying for.
