The position being advertised is for 1 mainstream Class Te4acher and 1 Special Class Teacher for our Autism Class. Our Autism Class is supported by a team of highly skilled SNA’s. Please specify clearly which position or if both are being applied for in your application.
The successful candidates will be:
- flexible, inclusive, energetic, and demonstrate initiative
- a reflective practitioner and seek out Teacher Professional Learning in areas of self-identified need
- willing to upskill depending on needs of the children
- committed to working as part of a dynamic and supportive team

Knowledge and experience of TEAACH, LÁMH, PECS, ABA would be beneficial. MAPA training would also be advantageous as well as working with children with behaviours of concern would be beneficial. This is a Fixed-Term for the 2025/2026 school year.
Successful candidates will be interviewed and the interviews are likely to be on the 7th of July.
An internal panel of suitable/ applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (4 months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
