Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The Board of Management of Scoil Naomh Molaise invites applications for two permanent SNA positions. The first position is a 0.83 post (infant day) and the second position is a 0.66 post.
It is desirable that the successful candidates will have:
• Experience of working with children with a variety of Special Educational Needs, including Autism, Down Syndrome, hearing impairment, physical disability and challenging behaviour.
• Experience in supporting children with sensory, communication, emotional, behavioural and intimate care needs.
• Additional relevant qualifications or experience, e.g. Irish Sign Language, Lámh, first aid, manual handling etc.
• A proven flexible approach, demonstrated a willingness to work as part of a team with excellent communication skills and a willingness to avail of further training.
