An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
St. Joseph's N.S. has 8 mainstream classes for girls and one special class- Rang Naomh Eoin, for children with Severe and Profound General Learning Disabilities and complex needs.
Applications are invited for a Fixed Term Teaching position with initial duties teaching our Special class Rang Naomh Eoin.

Experience teaching in a special education setting or special class is desirable..
We are looking for a teacher who is flexible, inclusive and responsive to the needs of the children and the school.
The ideal candidate will be kind, enthusiastic, energetic, can contribute to our team and work on his/ her own initiative.
The successful candidate must be willing to undertake training and CPD which relates to the needs of the children and the school and must be available to complete Croke Park Hours throughout the school year.
The successful candidate will be expected to respect student confidentiality at all times, as well as uphold the Catholic Ethos of the school
