Two vacancies exist.
1. Special class teacher for children with a diagnosis of autism. This position will facilitate two teachers who are on a job share. A new special class for children with autism will open on 28th August 2025.
2. Mainstream Class teacher/Maternity leave which is expected to last the full school year.

Other substitute work available:10 week parental leave.

For the special class teaching position, experience of teaching children with ASD in a primary special class or special school setting is desired.
The successful candidate will be required to collaborate with class teachers and other professionals to ensure an inclusive learning environment.
A great understanding of autism and experience of managing challenging behaviours is preferable.
