Eolas Breise:
This fixed term contract covers an SNA career break for the 2025/2026 school year. It is a full time position to include the 72 hours required under the Croke Park agreement for SNAs. The successful applicant will work a split week-3 days and 2 days opposite the current SNA.
Applicants who are members of the Supplementary Panel must furnish a certified copy of completed Panel form 1 (PF1) with their application.
Candidates are required to have minimum qualifications as per Department of Education Guidelines.
To meet the needs of the school the following competencies are desirable:
• Knowledge and experience of working with children with ASD and/or complex needs
• Experience of working with children with behaviours of concern and promotion of positive behaviour strategies
• Experience of working with children with mobility and/or feeding needs
• Evidence of CPD in the area of Special Needs in relation to education
• Child protection training and certification
• Candidates must be able to work well within a team, display a strong work ethic, be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training
Appointment is subject, but not limited to, satisfactory references, current Garda Vetting and OHS.
