An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

These positions may be in a special class, SET or mainstream setting.

The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable:
Evidence of ongoing CPD is advantageous.
Experience in the following areas will be advantageous:Team-Teaching in Literacy and Numeracy.
Interests/skills/experience in ICT/sport/ working with pupils with complex needs are advantageous.
