Parteen N.S. proudly opened an Autism Class in September 2023, which has already greatly enriched our school community.
Desirable Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Probation completed
Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular involvement, including sports and the arts
Experience working with children with Autism,emotional/behavioural needs,ADHD
Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Familiarity with key curricular approaches such as Literacy Lift-Off, Aistear, Mata sa Rang, Ready Set Maths, UFLI, Restorative Practice, and Friends for Life
Any offer of employment will be subject to:
Proof of qualifications
Teaching Council registration
Current Garda Vetting requirements
Occupational Health Screening.
Applicants must include the recognised certificate to teach RE with their application
Applications must be submitted by post and must arrive by12 noon on the closing date.
