Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
There is 1 Full Time Post to cover a job share for the 2025/2026 school year. Candidates are required to have the minimum qualifications need as per DES guidelines. Experience of working in primary school settings is advantageous. Additional, relevant courses successfully completed would be highly desirable.
Knowledge and experience of working with children with ASD is essential.
Candidates should have an excellent understanding of dealing with pupils with challenging behaviours.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent care skills for pupils with complex medical conditions.
The successful candidates will be joining a well-established team and will be expected to have very good interpersonal skills, demonstrable team-work abilities and a keen willingness to take the initiative.
Appointments will be subjected to current Garda vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening. Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary Panel with supplementary panel rights must furnish a copy of a completed Panel Form (PF1) with their application.
