An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Special Needs Assistant (SNA) Positions – 2 x 0.5 Posts
St. Anne’s Special School, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary
We are currently advertising for the following SNA positions at St. Anne’s Special School:
One 0.5 SNA Post – to be worked over the school week (i.e. across 5 days).
One 0.5 SNA Post - Job share position
Additional Information:
St. Anne’s Special School caters for students aged 4–18 years with moderate and
severe/profound intellectual disabilities. The school currently has 9 teachers and 22.5 SNAs supporting the delivery of individualised programmes of instruction.
Applicants should have:
Experience working with children and young people with general learning disabilities (GLD), autism, and additional needs in a special school setting.
Knowledge of low-arousal approaches and positive behaviour support strategies.
Experience or familiarity with communication systems such as LÁMH, AAC, and visual supports.
Safety Intervention training is desirable.
