Permanent Standard SNA Post x1 (32 hours per week)
Permanent Standard 0.83 SNA Post x1 (26.56 hours per week)
Temporary Standard Fixed-Term 12-month contract SNA Posts x3 (32 hours per week)
Temporary Fixed-Term 12-month Job Share contract SNA Post x1 (32 hours per fortnight)
Temporary Fixed-Term termly sanctioned contract SNA Posts x3 (32 hours per week)

Applicants should outline which position(s) they are applying for in the email SUBJECT LINE & also in the FIRST Paragraph of their letter of application.
These posts may be a mixture of ASD Special Class settings & Mainstream Class settings.
All applicants must be willing to work in all areas of the school environment.
Desirable Knowledge & Experience:
Experience in working in a primary school setting. Experience assisting children with A.D.H.D., A.S.D., moderate autism and flight risk. Experience in working with children with complex needs. Experience and training in communication needs (Lámh), feeding care, intimate care, toileting care and equipment. Experience with the management of challenging behaviour and promotion of positive behaviour strategies. Experience in First Aid.
Candidates must have a proven record of being highly motivated, flexible and personable. Candidates must be able to work well within a team, display a strong work ethic and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training e.g. The National Training Programme for SNAs provided by UCD, in conjunction with the NCSE and the DoE.
This position will involve working closely with the class teacher and other staff in support of children with special needs. It will require working with one or more children with special needs during the school day. The successful candidates will be expected to respect the confidentiality of the students at all times. The successful candidates will be subject to current vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
The successful candidates may be required to participate in in-school training and planning at the end of August, prior to the school reopening.
