The Board of Management of Stepaside Educate Together Secondary School invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the post of Deputy Principal (Category XV) with effect from September 1st 2025. Stepaside Educate Together Secondary School is a co-educational secondary school under Educate Together patronage. The building of Phase 1A and 1B of our permanent school was completed in 2024. We are in our brand new home with all of its state of the art facilities with the final phase to begin in October 2025.

The Board of Management seeks a dynamic leader who is passionate about educational excellence, is innovative, creative and visionary and has a proven track record in school management. The candidate will possess strong organisational abilities, a deep knowledge of curriculum development and will be an effective communicator who can continue to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider school community. The successful candidate will promote the Educate Together ethos and values of the school, maintaining its inclusive culture and high standards.

The post is subject to the conditions of employment of the Department of Education.
The Post is (Category XV) and the rates of allowances are outlined in Circular 0041/2023.
