Additional Information:
There are currently 9 special education needs assistants in Scoil Naomh Erc National School
This position will be initially for our special class for children with autism but this is subject to
change given the large number of children with a variety of care needs across our school.
Advantageous:
Special Education Needs Qualification.
Special Education Needs Experience.
Experience supporting children with autism in a special class or in a mainstream setting.
Experience of team work and demonstrating a high degree of flexibility.
Highly Desirable
Evidence of continuous professional development on working with children with autism in
schools
Appointment is subject to current Garda Vetting and Occupational Health Screening.
