An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Danu Community Special School is a DDLETB school that caters for students with ASD, and moderate and severe intellectual disability and complex needs aged 4- 18 years in Dublin 15.
We are excited as we are opening new classes in our school in term 3, and we seek a dynamic and talented teacher to join our exceptional teaching team as a temporary Fixed Term teacher from now until 30th June 2025.
Successful candidates must be able to work as part of a school team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge and experience of ASD, PECS, Lamh, Positive behaviour management strategies, Junior Cycle is an advantage. The school participates in the Droichead Programme. School visits are facilitated to candidates interested.Please contact the school office 01-8270755.
Commencement appointment date with immediate effect pending subject to satisfactory references, current teaching council registration, vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
