St. Paul's School caters for 97 pupils aged 4 to 18 years old with a moderate, severe or profound GLD. Most pupils have additional needs while some pupils also have complex medical conditions. Staffing includes 1 Administrative Deputy Principal, 15 class teachers, 3 part time teachers, 45 SNAs, 1 full time secretary and 1 part time caretaker. There are also 3 full time nurses, 1 full time SLT, 1 full time OT, and 1 part time Physiotherapist all on site in St. Paul's. The curricula offered by the school are the NCCA guidelines for pupils with moderate, severe, profound GLD, the JCT programme and the Senior Cycle programme. St. Paul's School is under the patronage of the Bishop of Cork and Ross.
