Scoil Triest is a special school for students with a dual diagnosis of autism and mild / moderate intellectual disability aged 12 - 18 years. Experience of teaching students who have a diagnosis of autism and intellectual disability in a special school/special class environment is essential.
There is 1 Fixed Term Teaching Position and 1 Maternity Teaching Position Available. Please specify in your application if you are interested in applying for both positions.

Additional relevant qualifications/courses (e.g. First Aid, Positive Behaviour Support Strategies, CPI, Lámh, Social Stories, Floortime, Intensive Interaction etc.) would be highly desirable.

Successful candidates should have a good understanding of how to promote positive behaviour in the classroom.
Experience of managing behaviours of concern is essential.
Knowlede of the Junior & Senior Cycle programmes L1LP L2LP is desirable.
