Eolas Breise:
Arles National School is looking for a bus escort to accompany children with additional needs to our school.
The bus picks up the escort from school and makes the journey to collect the children. The children are brought home after school and the bus escort returns to the pick up point, namely the school.
School begins at 9:30. Applicants would need to be available in the morning for approx. 1-2 hours before school and after school from 2.10pm for a further 2 hours approx.– during term time only.
Duties will include escorting children to and from Arles National School, assisting children to board and alight safely from the school transport, ensuring that all children are seated safely and ensuring that each pupil is received by a responsible person at the set down point.
Previous experience working with children with special needs would be an advantage but is not essential.
Position is subject to Garda vetting and Occupational Health screening by the school.
