The Board of Management of Scoil Chaitríona, Baggot Street invites applications for the position of Administrative Principal from 27th August 2025.
Scoil Chaitríona is a co-educational DEIS 1 primary school in the heart of Dublin 2 under the patronage of the Catholic Archbishop of Dublin.
The roles and responsibilities for the post of Principal are aligned to the four domains of leadership and management as specified in Circular 0044/2019:
1.Leading teaching and learning.
2.Managing the organisation.
3.Leading school development.
4.Developing leadership capacity.
Applicants should demonstrate:
-A commitment to supporting the Catholic Ethos of the school.
-A high level of understanding of DEIS, special needs, inclusion, and differentiation.
-Have proven interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
-Experience in prioritising, planning and organising workload.
-Involvement in the development, implementation, operation and evaluation of school-based initiatives.
