Holy Family is a vibrant special school dedicated to the education of Deaf and Hard of Hearing children.
The mainstream curriculum is followed in our post primary and our students sit for Junior Cycle, Leaving Certificate and Leaving Certificate Applied state examinations. There is no requirement for candidates to have qualifications in Deaf Education or competence in Irish Sign Language ISL. An interest in working with Deaf & Hard of Hearing children and those with additional need is essential. Support and the opportunity to learn Irish Sign Language ISL will be given to the successful candidate.
The Board of Management of Holy Family School for the Deaf invites applications from suitably qualified teachers of Home Economics.

The position can only be filled pending approval from the Patron, the Department of Education and the Board of Management of Holy Family School for the Deaf.
Any appointment will be subject to registration with the Teaching Council and Garda vetting. In compliance with DES regulations, short-listing may apply. Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
