The successful candidate will ideally have:

• A clear understanding of and commitment to the ethos of this Catholic school.
• Proven excellent leadership, people management, and communication skills.
• Experience and knowledge of prioritising, planning, implementing, and embedding whole school policies/procedures, especially in DEIS (Delivering Equality of Opportunity in Schools) and Positive Behaviour Management.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of the primary curriculum at different levels and evidence of involvement in the school self-evaluation process (SSE).
• A high level of understanding and knowledge of special educational needs, inclusion, and diversity in education.
• A commitment to and evidence of continuing and relevant professional development.
• A willingness and ability to work in partnership with external agencies and community groups
