St. Patrick’s Special School Board of Management invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the post of Administrative Deputy Principal of St. Patrick’s Special School under a Permanent Contract of Employment to commence on 2nd September 2025.
St. Patrick’s Special School, Enniscorthy provides for the needs of students with a Moderate or Severe/ Profound GLD aged 4-18 years. In addition, many students have additional needs such as Downs Syndrome, Autism, physical disability, etc.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Be fully registered with the Teaching Council under either Route 1 (Primary), Route 4 (Other) or Route 2 (Post Primary)
• 5 years recognised teaching service, two of which must be in a recognised primary or post primary school within the Republic of Ireland.
• Significant experience with children who have an additional need in the Moderate or Severe/ Profound GLD range, diagnosis of Autism/Autistic Spectrum Disorders and/or Special Education Needs is desirable.
• A post-graduate qualification in Special Education is desirable.
