Harold’s Cross Educate Together Secondary School (HCETSS) opened in August 2020 in temporary accommodation on the site of the former Greyhound Racing Stadium, Harold’s Cross. HCETSS will take in its sixth cohort of students in September 2025.
The construction of our permanent school building, which will accommodate 1000 students, is well underway and we will move into our brand new school building in September 2026.
We are looking for a Special Education Teacher/Additional Education Needs Teacher to complement an existing highly committed AEN Team.
As extra-curricular activities underpin much of our work in supporting strong relationships and team spirit, teachers in the school volunteer to offer a range of lunchtime clubs and after school sport and other activities.
The successful candidate must be a team player who displays the HCETSS team attributes of humility, commitment and common sense and who is willing to collaborate closely with colleagues in creating a vibrant learning environment.
The school will also offer a coaching and mentoring programme to support staff continuous professional development as well as building leadership capacity within our school. We also offer exceptional opportunities for teachers who wish to develop their own leadership skills and apply for posts of responsibility in our school.
Students in the school use devices and the integration of technology into learning and teaching will be an important element in the school's approach.
