Balscadden NS is a fully vertical, mixed school nestled in the village of Balscadden just outside the town of Balbriggan. A rural school, Balscadden NS operates in the heart of the local community and has a strong team approach to education. Our teachers, SNAs and support staff all work together to create a collaborative culture where children can thrive and develop. We are looking for a school secretary who can become part of this team. They need to have the interpersonal and administrative skills to run a busy school office while nurturing the supporting the children of the school. Our ideal candidate will be organised with a great work ethic combined with the people skills to support our teaching staff and children. They need to have a good manner both face to face and on the phone and be passionate about delivering a high quality education to the parents and children of Balscadden.
The new secretary will be employed directly by the Department of Education (Approx 25 hours/week) under the terms of the new scheme. Details can be found online.
