Childcare Manager
Join Our Team at Ballon Community Childcare Facility!
Are you a passionate, experienced childcare leader? Ballon Community Childcare Facility is looking for a Childcare Manager to support our growing team and ensure the highest standards of care and education.
This full-time role (Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week) offers the opportunity to co-manage our state-of-the-art, Tusla-registered facility. The successful candidate will lead the development of our high-quality childcare service, implementing quality systems and best practices, to ensure a child-centred, inclusive, and safe environment for children aged 6 months to 12 years.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead child development programmes and play-based strategies
• Ensure the safety, health, and wellbeing of all children
• Manage staff, fostering a collaborative, supportive work environment
• Oversee the implementation of quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and statutory obligations
Key Requirements:
• Childcare Qualification
• 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory role
• Strong leadership, organisational, administrative and communication skills
• Passion for delivering high-quality and inclusive early learning and care, while displaying kindness, warmth and responsiveness to children's needs
• Ability to work collaboratively with our team, parents, guardians and the Board of Management
