An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Catherine McAuley NS is a reading school for pupils with severe dyslexia. We are currently looking for a bus escort: approx 4 Hours per day, 5 days a week (two hours in the morning approx 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and two hours in the afternoon: 1:50p.m. to 3:50 p.m.(approximately) Monday to Friday during term time.)
The escort makes arrangements to meet the bus operator at the pick up point of the first student (at approximately 7:30 a.m. and the escort is dropped back to that point by 9:30 a.m.). The pick up/drop off point for the escort will be Edenmore in Dublin 5. Similarly in the afternoon the escort would be picked up by the driver at the same point (at approximately 1.50 p.m and brought in to the school on Lower Baggot Street in order to bring the same group of students home from school. Most of the bus runs in the afternoon finish back at the starting point by approx 3.50/4:00 p.m. The timing of this may vary.
The bus service that requires an escort is the northside of Dublin including Edenmore, Clontarf, Fairview and surounding areas. We are also seeking to form a panel of escorts who would provide occasional substitute cover on these bus runs.
THE REVISED HOURLY RATE IS €15.20. HOLIDAY PAY WILL CONTINUE TO BE PAID AT 8%. THE REVISED HOURLY RATE, INCLUSIVE OF HOLIDAY PAY, WILL BE €16.42 (€15.20 +8%).
Appointment is subject to Garda Vetting requirements and verification of references. Please include at least two referees and their contact details in your letter of application.
