An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Scoil Mhuire NS invites applications from highly dedicated candidates for the position of a full-time Special Needs Assistant (maternity cover). Candidates must have a strong work ethic, respect the ethos of the school and be flexible and willing to work under the direction of the Class Teachers, SET Co-Ordinator and School Principal. We are looking for someone who is energetic, enthusiastic and responsive to the needs of the children and the school.
Experience or training in working with children with A.S.D., O.T., emotional and behavioural difficulties and medical care needs is desirable.

Appointment is subject to current Garda Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
The position is subject to NCSE allocation and SENO review.
