Rosedale School provides an educational service for pupils aged 3 to 18 years with severe and profound learning disabilities in Galway City and surrounding areas.

A partnership model operates in the school, between the Department of Education and Skills and the Brothers of Charity Services since 1998. Teachers, SNAs and Nurses/Educators work together in the classrooms to best meet the individual needs of each pupil.
The Principal, Brothers of Charity Team Manager and School Board of Management are responsible for the management of the school and are committed to providing a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum to meet pupil needs.
Rosedale Department of Education staff currently comprises of: Administrative Principal, Administrative Deputy Principal, 13 special classes, 3 of which are pre-school classes. There are currently 37 Special Needs Assistants on staff.
Rosedale School aims to provide a holistic education, which encompasses a happy, supportive learning and nurturing environment.
