An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Coachford NS is seeking to appoint an SNA for 0.83 of a standard SNA post ( infant day) on a permanent basis. Candidates must have experience working as an SNA in a classroom setting with pupils with a variety of needs: Autism, Speech and Language Difficulties, ADHD, Challenging Behaviours, and Complex Needs. Experience working in special classes with children with Autism, including duties of assisting with intimate care needs and administration of medication is desirable. Candidates should be enthusiastic, energetic, flexible, and able to work on their own initiative as well as in a team capacity. The successful candidates will also be required to participate in in-school training and planning outside of school hours.
Applicants seeking re-deployment must furnish a certified copy of the completed PF1 Form with their application.
This appointment will be subject to satisfactory references, compliance with Garda Vetting requirements, Túsla Children First Certificate, pre-employment medical screening and Patron approval.
