Gorey ETSS are looking for two Special Needs Assistants who will support the learning of our students with Additional Educational Needs. These are two newly sanctioned positions (2 x 0.5) following an exceptional review by the NCSE.
Essential:
• Applicants should demonstrate a professional, flexible, self-motivated and caring approach to the role and display initiative in the area of Special Needs Support.
• They must be capable of working with and supporting a range of special educational needs - emotional, behavioural, physical, medical and personal care needs.
• The successful candidate must also be a team player who is willing to collaborate closely with colleagues in creating an inclusive learning environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be required.
