St. Michael's House Grosvenor School, Leopardstown Road, Dublin 18 D18 KR 80 is a Special School for pupils aged four to eighteen years with a Moderate General Learning Disability (8 students per class), some of whom are on the Autistic Spectrum, 6 students per class. ( We also have classes for pupils with a severe Learning Disability). There are two special needs assistants in most classes.
All qualified primary teachers are eligible to work in this school. Post- Primary trained teachers, registered with the Teaching Council, are also eligible to apply. Please phone Principal (see below) for details and/or to visit the school. This is a Droichead school: a teacher's probationary period can be completed in this school with the assistance and support of senior teachers.
