An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The Board of Management wishes to invite expressions of interest in a fixed term teacher vacancy until Wednesday 25th June 2025 (end of school year) for children with Mild General Learning Disabilities. An expression of interest should be forwarded to the Chairperson of the Board of Management at the following address: Catherine McAuley Special School, Ashbourne Avenue, Limerick V94 AW98 by the 7th January 2025.
Catherine McAuley Special School caters for pupils with Mild General Learning Disabilities at both primary and post primary levels. The school has 27 classes in total of pupils with
learning needs.
Appointment will be subject to current vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
