This is for a part time Music Teaching Position.
10 Hours Per Week. Thursday and Friday
Understanding of adapting music curriculum to individuals with Severe to Moderate intellectual disabilities is essential.
St. Gabriel's Special School caters to pupils aged 4-18 with severe to profound intellectual disability, and those within that category with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Experience of teaching students with autism, intellectual disability and behaviours which challenge in a special school/special class environment is essential. Additional relevant qualifications/courses (e.g. first aid, positive behaviour support training, MAPA, PECS, etc.) would be highly desirable
