An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Danu Community Special School is a DDLETB school that caters for students with ASD, and moderate and severe intellectual disability and complex needs aged 4- 18 years in Dublin 15.
We are excited as we are opening 2 new classes in our school, and seek 2 dynamic and talented teachers to do so and join our exceptional teaching team.
We also are seeking 1 teacher which is an additional teaching post for this year to support 3 students on a 1:1 basis daily.
Successful candidates must be able to work as part of a school team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge and experience of ASD, PECS, Lamh, Positive behaviour management strategies, Junior Cycle is an advantage. The school participates in the Droichead Programme.
Commencement appointment date with immediate effect pending subject to satisfactory references, current teaching council registration, vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
