Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
We invite applications for an SNA position of 0.83 of a post (Infant Day)
Experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable.
Applicants should demonstrate their ability to work as part of a school team, under the direction of the class teacher, special education teacher and principal and display a strong work ethic.
Confidentiality and discretion are essential.
Desirable skills include:
Willingness to undertake courses which relate to the needs of the children and of the school.
Adherence to the ethos and culture of the school.
Applicants who hold the PF1 form should submit this with their application.
Duties of the post are subject to change depending on the care needs of the pupils and the school.
Appointment is subject to satisfactory references, OHS Screening and current Garda Vetting Requirements.
