0.83 hours post (Infant day). Experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable. Applicants should also demonstrate their ability to work as part of a school team under the direction of the class teacher, special education teacher and Principal and display a strong work ethic. Confidentiality and discretion are essential. Desirable skills include
• willingness to undertake courses which relate to the needs of the children and of the school
• suitability to the school and the needs of the pupils in the school.
• Adherence to the ethos and culture of the school

Duties of the post are subject to change depending on the care needs of the pupils and the school.
Duties of the post are as outlined in the Department of Education 0030/2014 and other relevant circulars. The post is subject to continued NCSE allocation and SENO review.
Appointment is subject to the sanction of the Minister and Patron, satisfactory references, compliance with Garda Vetting and completion of a Statutory Declaration and Pre-Employment Occupational Health Screening for SNAs.
