Our International Teachers Pool gives you the opportunity to explore teaching in our incredible state. Your skills and qualifications:
- You have a teaching qualification from the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Canada or South Africa
- You are able to meet Department of Education English proficiency requirements
- You have 2 years of full-time teaching experience (or equivalent) gained over the past 5 years post qualification
- You are committed to cultural responsiveness
- You are dynamic and ready for the opportunity of a lifetime
Visa application process and timelines:
We will sponsor successful applicants for a Temporary Skill Shortage visa (subclass 482) which also covers a partner and dependants. This process will begin once you have you have been appointed to a position in one of our schools. Our International Recruitment team will assist you through the entire application process.
Any extra requirements for visa:
Requirements include:
- Be able to demonstrate the required level of English proficiency
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification, which may include an undergraduate Bachelor of Education, or a post-graduate teaching qualification such as a PGCE or M.Ed
- 2 years of full-time teaching (or equivalent) in a school within the previous 5 years
