St Laurence’s NS is a welcoming and vibrant school under the patronage of the Bishop of Kildare and Leighlin. The school is held in high regard by the local community and has strong links with local sporting and community groups.

This position will involve working closely with the Principal, Class Teachers and Special Education Teachers in support of children with Special Educational Needs. The successful candidate would ideally have good communication skills and evidence of CPD in the area of Special Education. Candidates are required to have qualifications as per Department of Education and Skills. Duties are as set out in Department of Education circulars. All applicants must be willing to avail of further training.

There is one 0.83 SNA post to be filled. This is equivalent to an infant school day. The position has duties supporting children in the mainstream class and special education settings.
