The Board of Management of St Joseph’s special school initially advertised this permanent vacancy on this website on the 31st day of May , 2024) for teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Waterford and Lismore. The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest was the 5th day of June, 2024 . The closing date for submission of expressions of interest from teachers on the relevant Supplementary Panel was extended by advertisement on this website to the 7th day of June , 2024. The Board of Management is now proceeding to fill this permanent vacancy through open competition.
St. Joseph's school caters for pupils from 3-18 years of age with Mild GLD and students may have additional /complex needs.Knowledge and experience in ASD, LAMH and positive behavioural strategies are essential. St. Joseph's School is under the patronage of the Bishop of Waterford and Lismore and a certificate in the teaching of Religion will be required.
